A renowned personality in the banking & financial sector, recently working as a CEO of Alnasay Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and providing Consultancy to various local and international banking & financial institutions on banking and finance-related matters. Before Alnasay, he had over 35 years of diversified experience in the development of regulations, review & supervision of various functions of commercial banks, DFIs, and microfinance banks as Central banker. As an international Islamic banking expert, he worked with IFSB and currently working with AAOIFI on it’s various projects. He also conducted exposure visits of 10 countries and reviewed their legal and regulatory framework. The areas of expertise are licensing for a new bank/branch, conversion from conventional banking to Islamic banking, and all types of regulatory, supervisory, and taxation matters including Islamic & digital banking. Having rich working exposure on different areas of Islamic financial services with high profile government & industry level committees /sub-committees / working groups locally.He is also an expert trainer / facilitator / technical assistance provider in different areas of banking & finance. He has three Masters degrees in Statistics, Economics, and Banking & finance. IBP (commercial banking diploma), PGD (Islamic banking and finance from CIE), IBCC-NIBAF & ACSS (IBA-CEIF).

Ferguson & Co (PWC) on a ’DIGITAL BANKING’ project engaged us as a banking expert, Faysal Bank on different training areas of internal branch audit, Arif Habib-REIT and JAZZ Microfinance Bank on regulatory, supervisory and training matters, Saylani International on various Islamic banking & finance matters. Internationally providing services as an Islamic banking expert to Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) for developing Governance Standard on ‘Management of Investment account holders (IAHs)’ and Review of ‘Islamic Financial Accounting Standard (IFAS 27).
